Our Client is an online Megastore that sells right from Apparel to electronics; their entire online store is built on Hybris Commerce and uses Adobe Analytics, Campaign and Target for engaging with customers. This case study focuses on a wide functionalities developed and integrated with Hybris OMS, making it a one of a kind Hybris OMS customizations in the eCommerce domain.

Background

Their platform is built on SAP Hybris Commerce; we have initially implemented SAP Hybris WCMS and OMS, integrated Adobe Analytics with their frontend system (Hybris WCMS).

They also use Adobe Campaign: we schedule promotions and lead generation campaigns through various channels such as SMSs, Emails, In-app notifications and recently adapting In-app messaging. We have also implemented Adobe Target and providing end-to-end support for these solutions.

Below are key functionalities developed and might be considered when developing a marketplace with highly agile and scalable digital marketing infrastructure

Pincode Serviceability Commerce System would be sending request to OMS System based on the Product Selection + Destination Pincode. OMS System will perform serviceability logic and provide response whether it is serviceable or not.
Data On Boarding It's a Hot folder Approach (Mount folder) where OMS system would be receiving the master data information from Seller Portan & PI System
DFM (Distribution Fulfillment Mechanism) It's a job to allocate stock to a seller warehouse.
Order Updates Flow of updates like Pick, Pack, Ready to Ship, LP Updates from Seller Portal or 3PL Systems
Inventory Reservation Stock is reserved for the end user against the product
ATS Sync (Available to Sell) ATS Data (Stock) flows from OMS to Commerce through Kafka. ATS is the value which will indicate how much stock is available to sell
Cancellation & Returns Based on Order Status, Customer can cancel or return the product at line item level
Click N Collect Order Placed in Website, Collected at selected store ( Parent - Feeder Concept)
AWB Tracking (Air Way Bill) Flow of updates from 3PL from Product Pick from Warehouse to Customer Destination
EDD (Estimated Delivery Date) To provide estimated date to the end user when the product would be delivered
LP/AWB Override Business Team will change LP & AWB data if the existing LP is not available or shipped with different awb number
OMS Back Office It's a screen shared to business user to use different functionalities and reports
TSHIP PincodeMaster TATA Business uploads the Master data of 3 PL Information to which pincode they are serviceable along with priorities & limits
OMS Back Office Pincode Failure Report Generate report with pincode & product which are not serviceable on the website
Change of Delivery Address End user has an option to change the delivery address before the product is being shipped
