Background

Our client is the only authorized Service Provider for the Embassy of India and provides - information, how to apply, fees, document checklist, forms, online payment, appointments, Track My Application, FAQs applicable to all foreign nationals.


Challenge


Our client wants to implement a mobile application available to the end users where the users can track their application status, check the application centre details like address, parking facilities and the location on the map, also submit feedbacks and complaints. Our Customer doesn’t want to go for native app and wanted to have a smooth one for their customers for easy access.


Solution


As our client doesn’t want to go for native app we proposed Progressive Web App (PWA). We used Service Worker built in within the modern browsers to make the content available to the user even when app is offline. We use Web APP Manifests to make the app to be first-class application in their native OS. As we have used PWA we could be able to complete the development & implemented the system quite quickly which helped our client to reach market quickly.
